Arcenciel

arcenciel is a Lebanese based non-profit organization established in 1985 during the Lebanese civil war.... It was recognized as a public interest NGO in 1995 by Presidential Decree N7541. It supports Lebanon’s most underprivileged and marginalized communities, regardless of religion, political affiliation or nationality. Since its inception, arcenciel’s mission in Lebanon has been to promote diversity, integration and development through 5 core programs: Agriculture & Environment, Mobility & Health, Responsible Tourism, Youth Empowerment, and Social Support.

S-Miles

Special Miles is a specialized inclusive center, founded in January 2011, and includes individuals between... 3 and 25 years of age, with and without learning difficulties and mild special needs. S-miles center offers early detection & intervention for nurseries, academic programs (tutoring & intervention), life skills, consultancy for nurseries, schools and parents, research based extra-curricular activities and individualized therapies, through hands-on multi-sensory experiences. It emphasize on the holistic development of each person including moral, intellectual, social, emotional, physical development and well‐being.

ShareQ

ShareQ is a Lebanese non-profit organization launched by a group of dedicated young professionals... in 2012 to insure support for people facing physical and financial challenges so they can overcome them and lead a productive and dignified life. ShareQ works on launching social enterprises and programs that offer innovative products, services while providing solutions for crucial social challenges.

L’artisan du Liban

L’artisan du Liban was created in 1979 by the non-profit organization, Mouvement Social, whose mission... is to work towards a more just and humane world. We work for the social and economic development of local Lebanese artisans by providing sustainable solutions that help support artistry and preserve the cultural traditions of craft. Since our creation, we have supported more than 1000 artisans across the Lebanese territory, mostly in remote rural areas, and saved several crafts from extinction.

CHREEK

CHREEK is a Lebanese NGO founded by passionate and innovative young entrepreneurs and... professionals who take sustainability at heart. They campaign for a community where human resilience and social impact are celebrated by everyone. They take pride in constantly being independent of any political ideology, economic interest or religion, believing that no government is beyond scrutiny, and no situation is beyond hope. They examine, evaluate and find solutions for challenges by creating social entrepreneurial projects to support the most socially disabled communities in Lebanon, women and youth empowerment, and socio-professional reintegration.

Compost Baladi

Compost Baladi is a Lebanese social enterprise specialized in the repurposing of organic waste into... compost at different scales. It started with a group of young professionals who were inspired by the national waste management crisis in 2015 to create a blog and empower people on composting at home. By discovering people’s incentives to finding a solution and aiming for a positive change, they found that it was their duty to persevere. Now, Compost Baladi enables the recovery of organic waste and its valorization via composting, achieving this through the sale of compost by establishing partnerships with local community members and expanding the impact of their reach through technology, trade, and knowledge transfer.

Fair Trade Lebanon

Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) born in the year of 2006 out... of the will of a few Lebanese who wanted to change the livelihoods of disadvantaged rural populations in Lebanon. The association has the dual aim of improving the living conditions of rural populations as well as developing foreign exchanges related to Fair Trade in Lebanon. The choice of Fair Trade was based on the desire to create export opportunities for the traditional small producers and food processing cooperatives living in these areas. FTL implements agricultural development activities in order to strengthen the production and marketing of the products while improving the working conditions of the producers.

Inaash

Inaash is a Lebanese organization producing the finest quality handmade artisanal products... They are dedicated to improving the lives of women in the Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon, and have provided opportunities for thousands of women to earn income and provide needed financial support for their families. They have an iconic trademark, intricate traditional embroidery. Their selection includes abayas, coats, jackets, shawls and dresses, along with cushions, tableware and other household accessories. Over the last 50 years Inaash has trained and empowered over 2000 women in refugee camps across Lebanon. It currently provides work for over 400 women. At the heart of each Inaash piece, in its stitches, colors and motifs, is the history of Palestine as expressed in its distinctive visual heritage – embroider.

Triple E

Triple E mission is to increase the public awareness in order of solving the problem caused by the... residential waste water and to reach the time where this type of water is in treated by plants at the national and international level. This will decrease pollution, related diseases, the hydraulic stress, and will create new job opportunities, thus activating the economical chain. Triple E aims to reach the public, by offering the most technological treatment stations at the lowest prices, solving the needs for water and sanitation and therefore improving their life style.

Solidarity For Sustainability

Solidarity For Sustainability is a non-profit organization, established in 2014, aiming to help empower... Youth and Women. They believe that Youth and Women are the core pillars of the society. Their mission is to b the primary support and platform for youth and women that improve their lives through orientations and training to be able to be active citizens in society. They have several empowerment programs, and make sure to increase awareness among Lebanese citizens for cultural change, and create sustainable solutions over education and employment.
